The Portrait: An exploration of time and age through the lens of portraiture.
I will consider this project successful if I create a body of work which conveys the feeling of the passage of time through expression of specific moments for specific people. I hope that this will mean four or five large paintings, however I will feel that the project is successful if I create slightly fewer paintings than I plan to make, as long as those paintings show an honest communication between the subject and me.
